Am I reaching too much?

Lately, people have been using our lawn as overflow parking for the businesses across the street (storage), so i put up "No Parking on Grass" signs. One already got knocked down. A red pickup has started parking near our gate in the evenings, ignoring both "No Parking" and "Tow Away" signs. They park for a couple hours and leave, and while theyre not coming onto the property , it's frustrating. I think it might be someone connected to one of my tenants, but i'm not sure though. I've thought about leaving a note or calling the police, but I'm still deciding if it's worth the trouble or if I'm just overthinking it.

nope, you're not overthinking it. you have a right to your property, and "no parking" signs should be respected. I'd start with a polite, nonconfrontational note. It's possible the driver genuinely hasn't noticed the signs or thinks the area is a public shoulder. Something simple like, 'This is private property. Please respect the signs and do not park here,' might be all it takes. Just remember to keep it calm and polite. it's a great first step before escalating to something else.

I'd be frustrated too. If they're ignoring posted signs, it's not overthinking. A polite note could work first, but if it keeps happening, contacting authorities might be the only real option.
